January 2026 snapshot — all home types
In January 2026, the Toronto housing market recorded 1,074 home sales — down 21.2% from December 2025. The average selling price was $948,698 (median $749,500), down 3.8% month-over-month.
On the supply side, 4,077 new listings came to market and 6,968 properties were available at month-end, roughly 5.0 months of inventory. Homes sold for an average of 97.0% of the list price and took about 45 days to sell.
