August 2026 snapshot — all home types
In August 2026, the Thornhill housing market recorded 524 home sales — down 6.4% from July 2026 and up 4.4% year-over-year. The average selling price was $1,220,730, up 7.3% month-over-month and up 3.9% compared with August 2025.
On the supply side, 1,177 new listings came to market and 2,289 properties were available at month-end, roughly 4.5 months of inventory. Homes sold for an average of 97.5% of the list price and took about 33 days to sell.
